I spent the Winter of 2014 in the high desert of the Coachella Valley of California working on a book project. I also had the chance to hop on Angus, my trusty Harley-Davidson, and explore the area and take a number of photographs of the ghosts of the desert around Wonder Valley, and the Salton Sea. Both areas where people staked a claim in the 1940s and 1950s and then left. The beauty of the desert heat is that it preserves things. I spent hours wandering in the desert dust and listening to the ghosts on the wind…
